Thanks for visiting our page and supporting us in whatever way you can. My family and I are excited to be able to raise awareness and funds for an organization that has special meaning us. FACES (Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures) not only funds research, but does much more to fulfill their broader mission of improving the quality of life for all those affected by epilepsy and seizures.
Dr. Orrin Devinsky heads FACES and our daughter has been so fortunate to be in his care at NYU Langone. He and his team have been compassionate and caring in their approach to her needs, and we have been proud to support them and this organization in their extraordinary efforts in treatment advances and in making a meaningful difference in peoples' lives.
Since I proved I was able to cross the finishline at the NYC Half-marathon, FACES has entrusted me with a spot on their team in the greatest race in the world, the NYC Marathon!! The training has gone well so far, so another finish line looks within grasp :)
Wish me luck!

TeamFACES is proud to run in the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon among thousands of others as they race on behalf of important, meaningful causes. Each year our team grows and becomes more successful at spreading epilepsy awareness while completing this 26.2 mile event. We have doubled in size from the 2014 race and look forward to another inspiring year with our runners!
FACES (Finding a Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures) at NYU Langone Medical Center is dedicated to helping people and families living with epilepsy, through research, education, and clinical and community support programs.
Funds raised by each runner will benefit research efforts to improve epilepsy care, educational materials and cost-free seminars, scholarship opportunities, family initiatives, and various events hosted by FACES throughout the year.
