Families Mentally challenged financial help.
Organized by: Vera Silveri
I have in my family and know of many who have sever financial problems because of mental problems that limit the heads of households ability to stay on task and complete duties of there jobs. This impairs there ability to keep the jobs and to aquire new ones. The families suffer more than they to as usually these people don't see that they are the problem. Most feel everyone else is as fault. Most are bipolar, schizophrenic or a combo of may mental illnesses. They usually qualify for benefits for themselves but again don't feel they're the ones with the problem you can't get them to fill out the paperwork of go through the red tape necessary to obtain the help or benifits , there are no organizations going out of there way to find and help them. They have to seek help themselves and won't. There families are left in limbo many times having their utilities cut off and doing with out food or shelter. I want to not only help my own family but set up a program to help others by having a group that will reach out to these people with financial aid and help them understand that they have a problem just like lots of others that its nothing to be ashamed of and personally help weed though the red tape that they get so confused with. To be a guide and helper with services and benifit. I'm apply ing for a government grant to open a non gorvprofit to help them and I'm seeking volunteers, but would like to ask each and everyone who can afford to he'll these people to donate what you can to help me get started.
