Family looses everything in apramtnent fire
Organized by: Debbie Miller
My Niece, Patty Behrens who lives in Oakland, California with her two young sons, Amari 6 years old and & Jalonni, 11 Years old along with her ailing 87 year old father Hank Behrens who she cares for who also is wheelchair bound and has Alzheimers and dementia lost everything they owned in an aparmtnet fire on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 @ 6:00 Am. The Red Cross has set my niece and her family up in a hotel until Monday, June 20, 2016 so we need as much help as possible to replace their belongings, and find them a new residence. Everything they owned was lost. Three other families lost everything too and some were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation. We will make sure that this faily gets everything they need to start over, clothing, beds, furniture, a new residence to live in, along with any used toys even. We would be happy to take donations of any kind. I would hope one day we can pay this forward to help other families to terrible situations like this. If anyone knows of any organizations that we can also contact please feel free to contact me with the information. I can never thank everyone enough for all your help and for thinking of my niece and her family during this difficult time. God doesn't give us more than we can handle, but he does give us a lot of good people who can help this family out.
