Had to borrow money from several different sources to pay the taxes to keep the property and need to pay them back as you can verify from county tax assessors office website so please read and help if you can.
I need to pay the property taxes on my property in Oso, Washington. My husband and I worked so very hard for many years to pay for our "Park at Oso'" property and finally did and then he died. I lost our family home but cannot lose this property. I have fallen behind on the property taxes and need to pay them up or the property will go to the state. I need to leave this property for our Grandchildren. There is so much history to this property and here is a little. The Park at Oso started back in the 20's. When the loggers were finished logging an area they would drag their cabins down to this property that was owned by the Anderson's. After a while there were quite a few cabins and they all sat on the park property which sits right on the north fork of the Stilliguamish River. The north fork was a world re-nowned fly fishing hole and there used to be world class fishing derby's held there and people would stay in these cabins.Yes they are old and broken down but they are still there and so is the history. We had great plans to fix everything up once we finished working ourselves sick paying for the property which we did. Then he got sick and died and I can't do it alone. I just need to pay the property taxes so I can keep the property and pass it onto my family. Before I lost our house that sat right next to the property people would come by from time to time and ask to go inside one of the cabins and just look around because their dad used to bring them here as a child and stay for the weekend and fish. I even had a very elderly lady come walking down our driveway one day and asked to go inside this particular cabin because that is where her and her husband spend their honeymoon back in the 40's. Anyway, I just need to pay these taxes before June so I don't lost a great piece of Oso history. I don't do any sort of social media so I can't post any facebook info but have some distant family and friends that do so will ask their help in that area. I only have another 3 weeks to pay these taxes or lose the family property for good so any help will be very much appreciated. Thank you
