BENEFITING: Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic
ORGANIZER: Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic
For the past several years, I have held a fundraiser for my birthday instead of asking for gifts. This year, my FeLV+ foster kitties are helping me out.
Obie and Fanny were saved from euthanasia by Fort Collins Cat Rescue. They both have Feline Leukemia (FeLV), which is an immediate death sentence at most shelters. Now they live with us, delighting us with their silly kitty shenanigans every day and proving that FeLV+ kitties deserve love, too. Your donations will help Obie, Fanny and all of their friends at the shelter and in foster care to find families of their own and make room to save more lives.
So in honor of my 30th birthday, I'm taking the next 30 days to ask my friends and family to donate $30 (or whatever you are able to give) to FCCR! I've set my personal goal of $300, which can provide FIV/FeLV testing for 30 homeless kitties.
