THE STORY:

Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic (FCCRSNC) has the chance to win $50,000 if we receive the most donations before 10am MDT on June 5th.
Our goal is for every pet to be a wanted pet.
Money raised from this challenge will further our adoption, sterilization and community cat work, allowing us to save more animals!
Since 2006, the shelter has found homes for over 8,400 cats, and the clinic has performed over 33,400 surgeries. Over that same time period, euthanasia rates have fallen 73% for dogs and cats in Larimer County (where FCCSNC is located). We don’t claim to take all the credit, but without a doubt, the existence of FCCRSNC is a significant contributing factor.
We are making a difference! A big one! Won’t you join us to help save more lives?
FCCRSNC is a limited admission, adoption guarantee, nonprofit cat shelter and low-cost sterilization clinic for both dogs and cats. We are dedicated to the well-being of all cats and dogs in our community, with an emphasis on preventing pet overpopulation and the sheltering and placement of surrendered or abandoned cats into loving, permanent homes.
To help further reduce pet overpopulation, FCCRSNC also provides financial assistance for spay/neuter surgeries for low-income pet owners and a Community Cat Program that traps & spays/neuters feral cats and kittens. In many cases, these animals are even able to be fostered/adopted or rehomed to barn homes!
If we win the Challenge, the prize donation will be set aside in preparation for a new, larger facility where we will not only be able to provide our current services to more animals, but where we will also be able to offer additional programs, including a wider variety of low-cost veterinary services and temporary boarding for low-income pet owners.
