The Franklin County Humane Society is a small non-profit facility that takes over 75% of the homeless animals pets in our community. We have many emergency cases that come through our doors, such as broken limbs after an animal has been hit by a car, and many cases where an animal has been shot. Most recently we have had many kittens that have come to us in need of eye removals because of upper respiratory symptoms that were neglected. We also have many pets come to us with preventable issues such as flea infestations and hookworms.
This past year has brought an epidemic in our county causing our veterinary cost to rise over 50,000 dollars.
We can change all of this with your help. A small donation can give the gift of a long healthy life to an animal in need.
