Feed my Sheep- help the homeless
Organized by: Annamariexle@yahoo.com Le
I'm Annie and I want this to be a successful fund raiser to help those in need wether it be in food, clothing, shelter, or what ever it's to help the homeless people I see all over the place. Feed my Sheep- was my mother's name of her book she wanted to write. So I used her title to help me with her permission of course:) To many people get turned away that need help with shelter or food. I see them all over in Grand Raoids, standing by the freeways, outside down town and I can't raise enough on my own. I have and still give part of my earnings but there are just so many. So many people turn a cold shoulder to them or don't even look to help those in need. So now it's up to me to help I feel. I will give all proceeds to those in need I promise. My son went to Chicago a bit ago and told me this story of a homeless man sitting on the pavement crying with his cat. He was dirty and dropped some change so my son helped him pick it up as others just walked by. To this man that one penny meant alot to him and the help my son displayed. That broke my heart. Is this world so cold that it can't help someone that is literally down? Another story that got me going was from my daughter. She had gone down to Georgia for a missions trip and there had met a man named Jerry. He spoke with her and told her he lived in a tent as his home, and told her he loved it when it rained for it was the only time he got to shower. That just broke my heart and from that day forward till now I quit whining about when it rained for Jerry showed me through her story to be great fun for what you have and I haven't complained about the rain since. I might not be able to help every single person but I will try my hardest. May God bless me in this journey to help Feed his Sheep..and thank you to all that may help also in advance in any way.
