Did you know that in America, approximately 41 million people went hungry last year?
This season Wilber-Price Insurance Group will be participating in the Feed the Hungry Challenge to help Loveland InterFaith Effort (L.I.F.E) feed local families and prevent hunger.
L.I.F.E. offers a food pantry that serves clients who live in the Loveland school district and members of supporting congregations. They serve an average of 245 families, approximately 600 people, each month. Most of the clients served are working individuals struggling to make ends meet and many have children as well. Each spring L.I.F.E. sponsors a Feed the Hungry Challenge which restocks the pantry after the holidays when food drives are traditionally slow. This challenge is crucial to help registered families throughout the year. L.I.F.E. uses monetary donations to buy food from the Freestore Foodbank and elsewhere to keep the pantry stocked.
Currently, L.I.F.E. would like to feed even more families, but relies on donations to do so.
