Feed My Hungry Orphans
Organized by: Jeff Rohwer
Esperanza houses, clothes, feeds, educates and loves these children as if they were their own. Often these children come from unbearable home situations. I visit them every other month to love on them and to deliver non perishable food items and supplies. Recently I have been receiving cash donations to purchase perishable items like meat, eggs, milk, cheese and fresh fruits & vegetables. It's easier to just stop and purchase these items at the local Mexican SAMs Club. Last trip was in August. I am planning to travel there October, November and December to finish off this year. I feel like the holidays are times I need to deliver more and spend more time with the kiddos! Turkeys and hams for Thanksgiving and Christmas! I'm looking to really make a difference for them by being able to buy $1000 of food at SAMs Club each month. They have freezers, so I'd like to keep them stocked up in the protein department. Think about feeding 40 kids and 4 adults everyday! While times are tough in this area, your help makes it possible for this home survive and thrive. In August, when I told them I had $400 to go spend at SAMs and what did they need? You should have seen the looks in their eyes and on their faces. I'm hooked. I have visited and delivered 7 times per year the past 2 years. Please help me help them ?
