Mother and daughter dealing with cancer Imagine one day hearing the news your ten year old getting news the following day that you have precancerous cells on your uterus For one Grand Bahama family it's their reality Lisa Rigby and her daughter Felia are both dealing with cancer. Felia's cancer is in her left leg. It is normally found in children and adolescents. The disease is more common in males than females. In The Bahamas there are five cases Felia's is the fifth, but she is her mother's only child. Felia and her mother are appealing to the public for help as they go through this very difficult time because the doctors are saying that amputation is one option for Felia since she has no insurance or money to pay for a specialist. "I am pleading for help for my baby, so I can take her to a hospital that specializes in the treatment for her type of cancer. I don't have her in any insurance. I had conversations with the cancer center two days ago and they are trying to find a hospital that can take her because this is rare cancer. Lisa said the cancer center has also informed her that in order for her daughter to be seen by the specialist it will cost $5000.00 - $7000.00 and thats only to run test. make a donation $20 $50 $100
