The image displayed with this post is a drawing of the Fellowship Fire Pit, a project funded in large part by Plymouth Fellowship’s M. Cooper Heinz Memorial Fund. The fire pit is intended to serve as a gathering place for both members and friends of the church. We hope it will be a space in which all people of the church will gather, share, support and love each other. The $25,000 in the memorial fund covers the first phase of the project, which is expected to begin shortly. An additional $15,000 is needed to complete the project and bring this dream to fruition.
As lifetime members of the church, former PFers and current PF adult leaders, Peter KK, Pete Rogers, and I have created this fundraising page, which Rich and Mike support, as a vehicle through which you can offer your support to help make this Fellowship Fire Pit a reality for our whole faith community. The Fellowship Fire Pit will be a place that youth groups, fellowship groups, preschool classes, bible studies and many more groups can gather to grow in faith and fellowship. We think this fire pit is both a great addition to the church and honors the church as a whole. The use of the memorial fund to create this unique gathering space is something that would have made Cooper proud. (To be clear, no funds from the Capital Campaign or the operating budget will be used to complete this project.)
We hope that you will consider supporting our efforts with any contribution you can – no matter how large or small. If you have any questions please contact any of the following people:
