THE STORY:

Festival of Trees wrote -

More days to play, more nights to dream and more time to just be kids…

Festival of Trees is thrilled to be celebrating its 33rd year raising funds for pediatric research for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan and invites you to be a part of the celebration.

Since its inception in 1985 Festival of Trees has grown to be the largest annual special event fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation. The Festival of Trees, attended in 2016 by over 7,000, is truly a labor of love and would not be possible without our many dedicated volunteers, amazingly talented designers and generous donors like yourself.

Featuring a spectacular display of over 50 professionally decorated 7’ and 5’ trees, an aisle of wreaths, table top trees, centerpieces, gingerbread houses, festive gift shop, children’s activities, pet therapy dogs and photos with Santa, Festival of Trees is considered by many to be the premier start to the Holidays, and attending is a family tradition.

Prior to opening to the public, the Festival of Trees hosts two very important events. Our Preview Gala, an annual black tie event taking place the night before opening to the public, welcomed over 600 guests.  The generous support of the Preview Gala attendees has allowed the Festival of Trees family to start another annual tradition.

A special private party called “Holiday Hearts” held the morning before we open to the public is attended by the Palliative Care (terminally ill) children from Children’s Hospital of Michigan and their families. Guests are given free access into the Festival, the ability to have their Santa and family holiday pictures taken and enjoy strolling food stations, entertainment, face painting, special activities to participate in, and just time to enjoy the holidays with their families.

Your generous donation will make a difference in the lives of the innocent and most in need throughout the world.  Please give generously so the Festival of Trees can continue to do more…
