On Sunday Forever Friends was contacted about a Golden Retriever named Abbey that was dumped in the desert presumably left to die. She was found and taken to a shelter in the desert. She became part of Forever Friends and was immediately taken to Westlake Village Veterinary Hospital on Monday. She had a large mammary tumor that was bleeding. She had her surgery today (Tuesday 11/19). It was quite extensive! Not only did she have a large mammary tumor but also a deadly disease of her uterus. If she didn't have the surgery, she would have died within 2 days. She will remain in the hospital for several more days and because of the infection, there's a good chance that she will require additional surgery. Abbey's bills will be very high but her life is so very worth saving. Even with all she's been through, she was loving. Please help us get Abbey healthy so she can have a chance at a new life.
