On April 18, 2016, I will be joining more than 30,000 runners in the historic 26.2 mile trek from Hopkinton to Boston during the 120th running of the Boston Marathon. I am extremely fortunate to be representing the Town of Framingham in this year's marathon and raising funds for the Framingham High School Foundation. This will be my 4th Boston Marathon and 5th marathon overall. Since running Boston for the first time as a senior in college at BU, I haven't been able to watch a single Boston Marathon without wishing I was out there running. And as many of you know, I have always wanted to run as an official charity runner. This is the year!
A little about the organization I am supporting...The Framingham High School Foundation (FHSF) financially supplements athletics, arts, and activities at Framingham High School which may be reduced or cut due to budgetary limitations. Sports, music and other extracurricular activities shaped my own high school experience, and as a teacher and coach at Framingham High I see students benefiting from these same activities every day. Please consider a donation to help secure the future of activities that help students grow in all facets of their lives.
