Life-altering, chronic pain is REAL, and better treatments are needed TODAY!
Join us in raising fibromyalgia awareness on May 13th for the Richmond Together Walk! This fundraising and awareness event supports the efforts of the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association* and directly funds research. Co-Sponsored by the Richmond Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Association, the event will take place at Stony Point Fashion Park. We are actively recruiting walkers, fundraisers, donors and sponsors. You can make a difference!
I challenge each of you to donate a $1 for each year that you have known me!

The Richmond Together Walk is an opportunity for people with fibromyalgia to participate in an action-oriented, healthy event with their friends, family, neighbors and healthcare providers.
There will be a 1 K walk, raffles, music, and more. We also expect a city proclamation presentation.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by generalized pains along with other symptoms such as unrefreshing sleep, stiffness and cognitive dysfunction. An estimated 10 million Americans, 2-4% of population, have fibromyalgia as a primary diagnosis.
In Together Walks, together we can make a difference -- raise FM awareness -- advocate for better access to care -- encourage and fund research that leads to better treatments. Together
However you choose to participate, we look forward to partnering with you to increase awareness of, and raise funds for, fibromyalgia research and education.
I hope you will join us and share information with your friends and family! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I can forward a sponsors packet if you are interested - we are also looking for in kind donations to include in our silent auction baskets.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
