The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber will hold their second annual “Fight For A Cause” event on Saturday September 8, 2012 and one of the participants is no stranger to community involvement. Dana Leigh Pritchard, co-owner of Woodlands Performance & Suspension, a specialty aftermarket automotive business, will take on the ultimate challenge. She will make her debut in the boxing ring and will fight for her cause/charity in the organized event.
The match will raise funds for Panther Creek Inspirational Ranch, a non-profit organization that provides therapy for young people who are limited by physical, emotional, or mental challenges. The organization uses horses as a form of therapy to transform lives and strengthen families that are coping with disabilities. www.pciranch.org
“When I was approached by the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber to participate in this unique event, I jumped at the challenge to get involved and give back in such an active and exciting way. I've never boxed before, but look forward to the training with Pound 4 Pound Boxing, and I also am looking forward to the attention this event can bring to Panther Creek Inspirational Ranch,” says Pritchard. Triumph Pharmacy in Magnolia is Dana’s sponsor for the event and is grateful for their support.
Miguel Lopez, immediate past chair and committee chair for the event, went on to say, “We are very happy to have Dana involved this year, she brings a strong will and desire to not only have a successful match but to raise awareness about Panther Creek Inspirational Ranch.”
