EVENT DATE: May 10, 2014
More people die as a result of air pollution, than car accidents - American Lung Association
Please help me tackle this problem by making a generous donation to the American Lung Association to support our FIGHT FOR AIR:
Thank you for joining this important fight for people like my mom with lung affected diseases (scleroderma)*, those with asthma, lung cancer and many other diseases.
It is a win- win, everyone wants to breathe healthy air in our communities!
*Lung problems are usually the most serious complications of systemic scleroderma. They are now the leading cause of death in scleroderma patients. Two major lung conditions associated with scleroderma, pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension, can occur either together or independently. Scleroderma has been linked to exposure to silica (frac sand), benzene, toluene, xylene, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and epoxy resins
