Fighting cancer for a wonderful Dad
Organized by: Michelle Rodgers
My dad has been diagnosed with cancer. He is a very hard working, loving father, grandpa, and husband. He has adopted and changed the lives of 4 children. He has been a theraputic foster parent for 10 years. He gets up every morning and works hard to support his family. When I was 10 He bought an RV moved to Missouri and worked everyday while I was in the Shriners hospital and made sure my mom was able to be there everyday with me. I had 17 leg lengthening surgeries. The amazing man never missed a surgery. He has always taken care of those less fortunate. He is a Godly man. He has 5 small grandchildren that love him to the moon. Hopefully with help and lots of prayers and doctors hands and his will to live he will watch them grow into mature adults, and see even more grandbabies to come. My family is not one to reach and ask for help; however this is a very important cause. With Cancer he is unable to work and pay monthly bills. While he still has a child at home to support also this is very difficult and any help at all would be so appreciated in every way. Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to read my families story. As everyone knows when you are diagnosed with something like this and are down, can't work the bills still pile up. Any help at all is better than nothing. So please think of how you would appreciate the kindness and help if it was your father, mother, child or anyone that means something to you.
