Katy Mlodzik wrote -After years and years of hopping from one doctor's office to another, being in constant undefinable pain and filled with fear and anxiety, I was recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at 18 years old. This long, drawn-out process in search of a diagnosis is a common experience for those afflicted with this painful nerve disorder, one that causes normal sensations such as temperature and pressure to be interpreted as pain. Because of how impactful this disorder is on normal, every-day functions, it requires a lot of care and maintenance by health care professionals. As such, I want help raise funds for those less fortunate and less able to get the care they so desperately need that is necessary in coping with Fibromyalgia. Any money I raise will either go directly to the AFSA (American Fibromyalgia Syndrome Association) or to similar charities. Thank you!
