FIGHTING AGAINST PCOS
Organized by: Melissa Aguirre
My name is Melissa Aguirre and I have been diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. A syndrome that affects 1 in 10 women. Life with PCOS has been extremely difficult and has caused me great physical and mental illnesses that prevent me from living a normal life. I'm a donation to help me get a bariatric surgery in order to lose weight and significantly reduce my symptoms and help me live a normal life. I not only ask that you donate, I also ask that you search information about PCOS and look for other ways to help those who suffer like me. Women with the following symptoms please get tested so you too can get some help: weight gain, fertility problems, hair loss, insulin resistance, hair growth in places hair normally would not grow, depression or mood swings, menstrual problems, extremely difficulty losing weight even after dieting and exercising accordingly. These are just a few symptoms to look out for. Please help me raise money for my surgery, but also please help me raise awareness.
