Fighting to stay alive
Organized by: riketta usher
My 21 yr old daughter had 2 major surgery within 1yr. She was away at college & had sharp pains in her hip she came home for thanksgiving & has a habit of laying her body on me, while doing so she was asked to get up & she started crying saying she couldn't. Her brother had to pick her up. We took her to the emergency room to find out she had a tumor in her hip socket the size of a gulf ball & growing. Fast forward she had surgery had to come home & 9mths if rehab learning how to walk again. This left us struggling to maintain every day living I had to take off work with no pay to take care of her. She was dropped from school due to her surgery. On April 15th 2015 she felt a lump in her breast we went to the doctor they did a ultrasound & MRI & found another tumor. She hadit removed a week ago and we have had to live out of a hotel because we lost our apartment. We found a place to live with little money for security deposit & pay for lights to get turned on. I am back at work trying to stay alive for the sake of my family.
