Team Fights like a Boie was created in 2010 by Jami Peterson and Christy Duran after their mother Bonnie Boie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in October of 2009. The girls wanted to do something on Mother’s day to acknowledge what their mom was going through and try do something to help find a cure. This will be the eighth year our team “Fights like a Boie” will be walking in the Susan G. Komen race for the cure. The walk is always held on Mother’s Day and has become a tradition for our family and friends. For the last seven years we have been honored to be a part of the Pink Honor Roll, which is awarded to the top fundraisers in Minnesota. Every dollar donated helps fund research for a cure, advanced treatment options and support for cancer patients. This is where we need your help, please consider donating to our team.
