Join us for the Greater Chicago Food Depository's 31st Annual Hunger Walk on Saturday, June 25 at Chicago's beautiful and historic Jackson Park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Funds raised by the Hunger Walk support a local network of food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters fighting hunger every day throughout Cook County. Funds raised by this particular page will go to support First Bethlehem Lutheran Church's food pantry, which purchases food from the Greater Chicago Food Depository at a reduced price.
Over 30 years, the Hunger Walk has grown into the area’s largest anti-hunger rally and a strong symbol of our shared belief that No 1 Should Go Hungry. Last year's event brought 14,300 walkers to the lakeshore to raise funds and awareness for the fight against hunger in Cook County. With live entertainment and activities for all ages, the Hunger Walk is fun and impactful event for the whole family, friends and coworkers.
