Message from Chris Angell
Dear friends and family --
Continuing my Odyssey from couch potato to exercise hound, I have signed up to ride in the Five Boro Bike Tour, a 42-mile bike ride all over NYC on Sunday May 5th, and I am raising funds for The Nature Conservancy, a wonderful cause. My goal is to raise $2,500. Please contribute! For starters, how about a dollar for each of the 42 miles of the Tour? Even better, how about $5 per mile? $10 per mile? We need to reach our goal!
Take a look at the photos on the left. (Click on the buttons under the Nature Conservancy logo.) The first one ("before," which could also be called "Two fat white couch potatoes") was taken four years ago, on April 5, 2009. The next one ("after") was taken on April 2, 2013. I have been hard at work for the past year, working out every day that I can, and shedding 30 pounds. I feel great and am ready to ride!
So please help me ride for Nature, and help the Conservancy continue to protect lands and water across New York. Click the big DONATE button!
