I'd like to tell you a story of the cats in my life, and how FixNation has helped me. I have two adopted cats that are 10 years old now, but not long ago I noticed a few cats hanging out in my yard. I assumed they all had homes because I'd seen a couple of them sitting in the windows of neighbors - and they left when night came. Slowly it dawned on me that one of them might not have a home, and was indeed a feral cat. We started feeding her, and I realized she was not leaving at night. She was wild and would hiss like mad, but she didn't leave.
Then one day we discovered our homeless feral cat might be pregnant. We immediately began feeding her more and keeping a closer eye on her. She had her kittens on our porch and I cared for her through the labor.
We are now proud godparents of three kittens and a mom! And she has turned into a little lovebug!! This is where the great folks at FixNation entered our lives. FixNation gave us great advice on the phone and fixed all the kittens and the new mom, as well as testing them for diseases and vaccinating them. They also micro-chipped them…all at an incredibly reasonable price.
The folks at FixNation did this all with love and kindness to felines and owners, as well! I cannot say enough great things about this wonderful group and the folks who run it!! Please consider a generous donation to them! Here’s what your gifts could help toward:
- $40 covers the cost of one male neuter
- $55 covers the cost of one female spay
- $75 covers the cost of one humane trap that we can loan out to the public
- $100 provides sterilization, vaccines, flea treatment, antibiotics and pain medication for one homeless cat
- $250 provides an emergency surgery for a homeless cat for significant injuries, severe abscesses and trauma
FixNation does great work for all the feral cats we have in LA and for the owners of cats, too. We are very grateful for all their help and kindness!
Thank you for supporting FixNation as they seek to spay and neuter over 13,000 homeless and feral cats from throughout the greater Los Angeles area during this current year!
