We are raising funds to help with Timmy, a stray cat that came to Nashville Cat Rescue with gunshot wounds to both legs. He will need expensive surgery to put pins in each leg in order to restore him to health.
Tuesday-Timmy had to have a blood transfusion before surgery because of the blood loss due to the trauma of being shot twice. Timmy is still in the hospital. One leg was not repairable and had to be amputated. The other leg was pinned and plated.
Wednesday- Timmy is still on IV antibiotics due to a fever and hopefully no infection in his bone. He has not been able to stand up yet but it is still early. The goal to pay for the surgeries has been met but he will require after care and then his regular veterinary care.
Thursday-Timmy is standing in his leg and used the litter box!!
Any donations that exceed his bill that is currently at 5k will go towards other cats who NCR will be able to help from similar situations and are immediately euthanized elsewhere.
There will be an interview on News channel 5 this evening. Tune in. Thank you to ALL that have donated to give Timmy the life he deserves. See our Facebook page for more updates and pictures.
