One Flight. One Globe. One Vision.
Organized by: Erin Davis
From the time Erin was a young girl she knew there was a record out there waiting to be broken – and she would be the one to do it. Inspired by Olympic athletes, Erin tried many different sports and though she excelled at them she recognized she lacked the passion necessary to be a driven athlete. That all changed when she turned seven years old.
Erin discovered her passion for aviation in her uncle’s Cessna 172 the moment she flew around the Everett, Washington airport. From that moment on she would walk down the street with her eyes towards the sky knowing she was meant to be up there in the blue.
After focusing on schoolwork through high school and gaining focus and discipline while on the swim team, Erin began her studies in the Aviation Science program at the Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Her hard work and dedication paid off, earning her pilot license a year after high school graduation.
With the same passion she had as a child Erin’s eyes are now focused on a larger goal: circumnavigating the globe as the youngest female aviator.
