7th Annual Ski-A-Thon
In memory of Teddy Bedrossian
Sunday, March 12, 2017
Blue Mountain Resort, Palmerton, PA
The Ski-A-Thon is from 9:00am - 1:00pm followed by a Reception and Awards Ceremony from 1:00pm - 2:30pm.
The Teddy Bedrossian Ski-A-Thon is a fun and exciting skiing, boarding and tubing event that supports Elwyn, an organization at the forefront of developing unique, innovative services for individuals with disabilities.
Why Participate in the Ski-A-Thon?
This event has been created in loving memory of Teddy Bedrossian, an 18-yr-old, medically fragile boy who passed away from kidney failure. Unable to talk or hear, he brought an indescribable richness to those he met through acts of kindness and his contagious smile. He attended Elwyn, a unique non-profit organization that provides services to those with physical, intellectual and developmental disabilities.
To meet the evolving needs of our students, proceeds from this event will support the Davidson School Building Initiative, a state-of-the-art facility for children with intellectual disabilities. This essential project will allow us to broaden our services, increase our student population and provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment. This Ski-A-Thon will raise funds in honor and memory of Teddy.
