BENEFITING: FRIENDS OF LONG BEACH ANIMAL SHELTER
EVENT DATE: Sep 29, 2014
HELP US WIN $50,000.
Friiends of Long Beach Animals is competing in the Michelson Foundation Found Animlas Savings Pet Challenge. Michelson's Found Animals is donating $50,000.00 to the Charity that raises the most money for their cause between Setpember 29th and October 30th.
All of our hard work is finally paying off. For 25 years this grassroots organization has been working to end euthanasia of all healthy animals in the Long Beach and Signal Hill area through Spay, Neuter and Humane Education.
We are excited to announce that this year Friends of Long Beach Animals, in partnership with the City of Long Beach, is opening a Dual-Purpose Veterinary Clinic which will be located at Long Beach Animal Care Services. It will serve LBACS as a clinic where their veterinarians will be able to spay, neuter and provide necessary medical treatment to the shelter animals prior to adoption. FOLBA will be using the clinic to provide free or low cost spay/neuter for low-income families who otherwise can not afford to fix or vaccinate their pets.
We know that spaying and neutering has a direct effect on pet overpopulation and ending the suffering and dying of animlas due to shelter overcrowding.
We can't do this without your help. Please donate to our cause so we can continue our efforts in ending pet overpopulation. The funds we raise will help support and maintain our clinic and other programs we offer. Winning this Challenge and receiving the $50,000 Grand Prize will go a long way in our fight against pet overpopulation!
