Footloose (aka Kevin Bacon) was hit by a car. A Good Samaritan found him by the side of the road and brought him to one of our great community partner veterinarians, Animal Emergency and Trauma Center in Poulsbo. After being stabilized it was determined that there was no way to salvage his badly damaged leg, and in order to save his life the decision was made to amputate. Footloose was transferred to another of our great community vets - Poulsbo Marina Vet Clinic for this life saving surgery. Footloose is on the mend and will soon be ready to find his new forever home, but his vet bills are substantial. One of the remarkable things about this lovely young cat is that even though he had just lost his leg and must have been in pain, the vet techs reported that every time they opened his cage to handle him, he purred. Such a sweet boy! Your donation today will help us to continue to provide life-saving care for injured animals in need.
