For haitians Frandais & Ludjana scolarity
Organized by: Michelle Tirone
Frandais and Ludjana live in Haïti where life is so difficult since the 2010 earthquake. These two young people (34 and 27) want only to go back to an adult school for one year and change their life and the life of their families. Frandais and Ludjana are friends, this Friday, 2nd of September 2016, they have a test in the school Haiti Tec to be accepted for a 1 year scolarity and get a diploma. I personnaly help them a little but I cannot help them totally... Their situation is so: Frandais live in a very small place in a shanty town with no electricity. I would hale like hey could install a solar system but it costs too much. Ludjana lives in another part of Port-au-Prince and has electricity. She had to stop her scolarity after the earthquake where her mother died. Currently, Frandais makes "baneco" cards with banana dry leaves. But its doesn't even give him enough money to be able to eat every day. Some people live easily in Haïti and ads for tourists show beautiful hotels in beaituful areas near the sea. Not all Haïti is like this. Where Frandais lives, it's all dry ground, no grass, no garden. The school is not free, they ask 62000 gourdes* + 150USD, soit 1050€ par étudiant.
