Gracie was just 8 years old when she passed away due to ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura), an autoimmune disease in which the immune system destroys the platelets your body needs for normal blood clotting. This year the For the Love of Gracie 5K is supporting Bloodworks NW and the Platelet Disorder Support Association as they work to spread awareness of the disease that took Gracie from her family for too early. Please join us in supporting their important work.
