For the love of Keith
Organized by: Jackie Young Cavalletto
In 1971 our dear friend Keith had an accident, he accidentally shot himself with his father's gun ( a 57 magmum ). He has been confined to a wheel chair ever since. He is paralyzed on one side. Keith never complaints and takes his paralysis as a daily challenge. He wheels himself everywhere often scaring us as he crosses major streets, struggles with doors and balances trays of food if no one is around to help. Can you imagine how much we take for granted. If that isn't enough Keith has been diagnosed with cancer and will have to have a Kidney removed. He is still not complaining. I am asking for $1.00 from each person who reads this letter hoping 10,000 people will help. Please donate a dollar to this project. When I asked Keith what his friends could do for him he didn't ask for much. I had to really press the issue. He finally mentioned his place has termites requiring fumigation and also needs paint. Wouldn't be nice to fix up Keith's mobile home before his surgery.
