BENEFITING: CHICAGO LOWER EXTREMITY SURGICAL FOUNDATION
UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) has opened an account for international donations for those affected by the earthquake of 7.8 degrees on the Richter scale that struck on Saturday the coastal area of Ecuador, reported Ecuadorian Foreign Ministry. UNDP enabled a bank account for the conduct of international donations in favor of Ecuador, to help the most affected families in this natural disaster. At least 235 people have died and 1,557 were injured, as of 4/17/2016. The victims need non-perishable food, bottled water, tents, blankets, clothing in good condition for use in tropical and insect repellent areas and nonperishable food are required. The UNDP fund will help towards that.
