FOR THE LOVE OF PETS wrote -We are getting several heartbreaking calls per week from people who LOVE their pets, just like you & I do. The major difference is they have hit hard times and are faced with giving up their furry kids. Take a second and imagine how it must feel to be sitting in your kitchen, at your table, and looking at the dog/cat (s) that love you and would die for you in a heartbeat....with Joy. Now think how it must feel to look at these same beloved pets knowing that you are running out of time to find a safe home for them. Knowing that NO ONE can love them as you do. Knowing that if you don't find that safe place in enough time...your pet goes to a shelter. Imagine taking them on that last ride and handing that leash/carrier over to strangers who can't guarantee that the pet you love, who would give it's life for you...will live longer than a few weeks before they are destroyed. This scenario happens hundreds of times every day. We don't have the statistics yet. But I know that the 3 to 4 calls I am getting per week is more than enough for me. We have GOT to do something. For The Love Of Pets is trying. Will YOU help us to help them?
