THE STORY:
I'm lucky to be running the New York City Marathon in support of a wonderful nonprofit that provides financial support directly to families of children with Autism.
For Jakes Sake was founded in 2008 by a local mom whose son, Jake, was diagnosed with Autism at 20 months of age. Dawn had seen other families struggle with the cost of therapies and services and was inspired to help. All money raised by the nonprofit goes directly to the families who apply for funding, helping to support their children's developmental and therapeutic needs.
It would mean a lot to me, and more importantly to some awesome kids and their families if you would consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the treatment needs of children with Autism. Every dollar really does count!
