BENEFITING: FRAGILE X ASSOCIATION OF WASHINGTON STATE
I am a mom and educator on a serious mission! I have a strong desire to have my son accepted and respected for who he is. My son Angel has a full mutation of Fragile X Syndrome. Fragile X Syndrome is the most common cause of inherited intellectual disability. Individuals with FXS can experience developmental delays. I wish for Angel to be accepted in his community, valued as an individual, and loved as a human being. My goal is to spread so much awareness in my community that Angel no longer turns heads when he responds differently to a situation. I want him to be able to express himself freely without any stares, pointing fingers, glares, or laughter. I cannot do this alone! I need your help to be able to give my son the future he deserves. A future of love, acceptance, respect, compassion, and understanding. Please help me by making a donation or by showing up to the 5/10 K race on July 23rd at the Skate Park in Anacortes at 9:00 a.m.
All procedes that are raised will support the mission of the National Fragile X Foundation; to unite Fragile X community to enrich lives through educational awareness; and advance research towards improved treatments and a cure for Fragile X.
