BENEFITING: SUSAN G KOMEN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION INC
My grandma was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer, just as my aunt finished her final rounds of chemo and radiation to treat her own breast cancer. Despite having a family history clear of all kinds of cancer, it just goes to show, it can happen to anyone.
Now, my grandpa and his four sons want to show their love and support for my grandma, aunt and all those affected by the disease. These five men are tattooed, Harley Davidson-riding tough guys who own and work at Frank J. & Sons, a Long Island-based contracting company.
What better way to show their support than sporting pink hair for one full workday and letting us record their pinked out daily actions and other peoples' reactions?
Please help my family meet (and hopefully exceed!) our goal of $2,500, with all proceeds going to Susan G. Komen Greater NYC to help local women receive breast health screenings, treatment and support services and to find the cures. Let's make these ladies feel like someone is thinking about them, and these men feel like someone can't wait to laugh at (or admire) them! :)
