BENEFITING: GLEASONS GIVE A KID A DREAM
EVENT DATE: Nov 16, 2013
A corporate man with a bevy of experience in community affairs and PR, Frank has managed to strike an incredible work/life balance. No small feat in the city of over 8 million stories.
First off, there’s his family, who he counts as his top achievement, and the lifestyle he’s worked hard to create for them. But that’s only part of his balancing act because you see Frank likes to stay fit and he does so in the form of being a marathon runner.
Either that was getting boring or he was finding it hard to maintain training between work, family and his desire to make a difference in his local Long Island community where he’s active in the local scene. Whatever it was, Frank decided to wander into Gleason’s Gym one day 10 or so years ago and never looked back.
Boxing has been his passion ever since.
While coming to Gleason’s over all these years, Frank also found a passion for working with the inner city youth that were there as part of the gym’s Give A Kid A Dream program. Those kids ultimately left quite an imprint on him and changed his perspective on life, so much so that he lists them among his personal heroes.
Rightfully so considering the resolve and fight it takes to get off the streets and make strides towards a meaningful life. For his part, Frank strives to be a positive role model for them and has managed to dedicate a portion of his life to make a difference in theirs.
It really goes without saying then that he is beyond excited to be involved with this Fighters4Life event which, in part, benefits Give A Kid A Dream.
