With access to enough fresh and nutritious food, our clients are able to focus on getting things done without the distraction of hunger. They are able to afford basic necessities because of the supplemental food they receive at the Pantry. They can tend to their responsibilities and relationships because they have the strength to do so.
The Franklin Food Pantry offers food assistance and household necessities to more than 400 households which include nearly 300 children. Clients have access to fresh foods that include meats, dairy products, eggs, fruits, vegetables and bread. As a nonprofit organization, the Pantry depends entirely on donations, and receives no town or state funding. Other programs include a Mobile Pantry, Cooking Matters classes, a Healthy Futures Market, emergency food bags and holiday meal packages.
