Freddie ' s medical & survival help
Organized by: Freddie Askew
It is with great sadness and embarrassment that I ask for help. In 2007 I was diagnosed with end stage renal disease. It is a terminal illness. Subsequently I had heart problems that caused me to get a defibrillator / pacemaker. I already had diabetes, hypertension, COPD and migraine headaches. I worked for a while but finally had to stop and go on disability and give up working. I liked working with my clients in m mental health and other social services for more than 20 years. I had a pulmonary embolism and things continued to go down hill from there. I have lost my health, my career, my car and so much. Disability is a joke. I don't get enough income to live independently. I'm unable to work. I really need help and a car so that I can drive myself to dialysis 3 times a week also to doctors' appointments as well as church without having to beg rides. A car would help me so very much. I can be free again and I can help others in need. I am being forced to move from my home soon. I need money to find a place to live. I spent most of my life helping people in need yet I can find very little help now that I am in need.
