Free Arts for Abused Children is dedicated to delivering volunteer-driven creative arts programs to children throughout greater Los Angeles County who are living in emergency or transitional homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, or affordable housing communities, or who frequent community and family resource centers.
Since 1977 Free Arts has delivered on our philosophy that "ART HEALS!" This motto has driven our organization for 37 years, along with a network of passionate individuals coming together to share the healing power of art. With more than 35,000 children receiving child welfare services at any given time in Los Angeles County alone, Free Arts strives to reach more children each year, eager to spark their creative spirit, inspiring and transforming their lives through the power of artistic expression.
