Ainsley's Angels of America is super excited to be spreading awareness through activism and to celebrate Victor!
Here is a special message from Victor’s Mom:
Before my son Victor was born I was a runner. I never did a marathon but I was doing 5ks and 10ks. When Victor was 10 years old we immigrated to the USA. We didn't know a soul here. I was so busy surviving for both of us that again running was out of the question. Then gradually things got better for a while but then we had a house fire, then I got breast cancer...and it was never time for running. One day I said, enough is enough, I did put my son in his regular wheelchair and I went jogging/walking with him. You should see the smile on his face. Priceless! That is when I made the decision we will start running together. However, the wheelchair that my son has is close to 90 lbs. With my son sitting in it, it is over 200 lbs. When a speed a little the front wheels start to vibrate and stop us. My dream is to give my son the pleasure of moving and to participate in endurance events in support of the many wonderful organizations that helped along our journey. Please, help us achieve this dream. Elena and Victor
