Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Andrew can soon roll with the wind in his very own FREEDOM Push Chair. Additionally, every dollar raised over 900.00 will go toward the establishment of Ainsley's Angels in Northwest Indiana!
Here is a special note from Andrew: Hi! I'm Andrew and I have been running/racing with my Mom for 3 years. "I feel like I want to inspire people to run more often." My Mom and I are running our first marathon on November 7, 2015. The Indianapolis Monumental Marathon has accepted us and we are thrilled they can make our marathon dream a reality! Andrew and his twin brother William were born 16 weeks early and both have Cerebral Palsy. William runs local 5K's and Andrew and myself "Push" ourselves to meet goals every season. Currently, we use Andrew's regular wheelchair, with a front wheel attachment to participate. For the marathon distance, and his comfort we think the Freedom Jogger would benefit us both. This chair goes up to 200 pounds an would last us for many, many miles and years of running! We are excited at the proposition of teaming up with Ainsley's Angels to bring inclusion running to Northwest Indiana, and hopefully the whole state! In Andrew's words "Anyone can be a Hero." I believe using my/our legs for those who can't, can take us miles!
