Earle is a BrainStem Stroke Survivor 6 years ago he suffered a stroke that left him Locked In. A syndrome that leaves him unable to move and to speak. They call this condition the glass coffin. He spent his life developing technology for America’s Space Program and now dependent on technology for my quality of life. A former marathon runner and avid alpine skier Earle has dreamed of somehow returning to racing. Earle is an advocate for United Spinal and National Spinal Cord Injury association. He has attend Roll on Capital Hill in 2015, 14, 13, and 2012 in Washington DC on Capital Hill for advocacy for Wheelchairs, Complex Rehab Technology and for Medicare/Medicare beniefits, the CRPD, The Steve Gleason Act and The Able Act. He is a motivational speaker and continues to advocate. Before the stroke he was very active. Ealre has returned to adaptive sking and was thrilled to be able to ski again. He proves that quality of life is not based upon you limitations it is defined by your spirit of hope and your passion to perserver.
