Friends and Family of Cliff and Nancy
Organized by: Ronda Bush
In May 2015, Cliff Davis had open heart surgery at the Mayo Clinic to replace 2 aortic valves. He and Nancy spent a month at Mayo until he was well enough to come home. Recovery has been a long and challenging road for Cliff with many up and downs. On January 8th he went back to the hospital to have scar tissue removed from a lung, as his lungs continue to collect fluid. If you don’t know Cliff’s history, he has scar tissue on his lungs and his heart valves were damaged from radiation that he received when he had cancer in college. Unfortunately, Cliff has been in ICU since January 14th and his two valves are leaking, which is resulting in additional complications. At this point they need to get Cliff stronger so they can repair his heart valves either in Memphis or at the Mayo Clinic if they can get him strong enough to travel. Nancy, Grace and Chip are remaining strong, but as many of you know extended time in the hospital can weigh on you mentally, physically and financially. Friends and family of Cliff “Big Daddy from his old KA days” have been asking how they can help, so we have established this fund to help them with the daily expenses as well as the significant medical bills that continue to build. Cliff, Nancy, Grace and Chip are such an important part of our lives and we want them to know how much we love them. Most importantly please keep Cliff, Nancy, Chip and Grace in your daily prayers! We will continue to keep you updated on his progress.
