Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I am currently training to run in my first marathon on April, 20 2015. I am thrilled to be a part of the 119th running of the Boston Marathon as a member Team Framingham. While I am working on learning to never say never: if you are only going to do one marathon, it might as well be Boston!
I have been active in the Framingham community for eleven years as a teacher at Walsh Middle School. However, this marathon will be run to raise funds for a different age demographic. The charity I am running for is Friends of Callahan, which supports the Continuing Connections program for early Stage Alzheimer's. See their info on the charity profile page of this fundraiser site.
Thank you for your support in my efforts towards helping this wonderful cause and marking an item off my fortieth year bucket list. I would also appreciate any physical support along the course, I promise to give high fives to all kids! My boys, Leo (7) and Wyatt (3), love when a runner acknowledges them during a race.
