BENEFITING: MEDICAL BENEVOLENCE FOUNDATION
This is a dedicated effort in partnership with Medical Benevolence Foundation to rebuild an 80-year-old hospital in the remote southwestern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Moma Hospital, located in the village of Moma, is the only medical facility in a region serving 30,000 people. In 2012, when the appalling condition of Moma Hospital became known, “Friends of Moma Hospital” enlisted the help of Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) to help raise funds to re-build the hospital.
The needs are vast: running water, electricity, medicines, supplies, beds, mattresses, linens, gurneys, surgical kits, nutritional supplements, clean water, construction materials, kerosene.
Moma Hospital is staffed by a doctor, Dr. Francois Kashala, and several nurses and attendants.
Please become a “Friend of Moma Hospital” by making a donation to this important work! This situation is critical and even the smallest donation is important.
