What's often missing in missing persons cases is a trusted, knowledgeable liaison between the family and law enforcement. That's MPID's role.  See more

THE STORY:

We support the work of the Missing Persons Identification Resource Center (MPID) to assist the families and loved ones of missing persons. Too often families of missing persons are left on the sidelines, forced to be passive observers of the work of law enforcement and other agencies, when in fact they not only have the right to remain fully informed, but often have invaluable information about the missing person that can assist in finding and/or identifying their loved one. MPID provides its services pro bono, and is able to do so only by the generosity of ordinary folks. Small donations quickly add up. Thank you.

The video to the left is an excerpt from an ABC News story about Clea's work as a forensic anthropologist on behalf of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunals for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia. Clea talks about the formation of the Missing Persons Identification Resource Center (MPID), a non-profit dedicated to helping the families of the missing and unidentified.
